Recipe
Strawberry Spritz
Strawberry syrup, prosecco, a little soda.
Placeholder · Recipe hero Wine glass of pink spritz over ice on a porch table, a basil leaf and a lemon twist, bottle of prosecco soft in the back, jar of LGT strawberry syrup in frame. Late-afternoon light.
Makes one glass. Five minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 oz strawberry simple syrup
- 3 oz prosecco, cold
- 1 oz soda water
- Ice
- A lemon twist or a basil leaf
Steps
- Fill a wine glass with ice.
- Pour the strawberry syrup over the ice, then the prosecco.
- Top with the soda water and stir once, gently, so the bubbles stay.
- Twist the lemon over the top, or slap a basil leaf and drop it in.
Notes
No-alcohol version
Swap the prosecco for more soda water or a cold sparkling cider. The strawberry still carries it.
On the herb
Basil and strawberry are a good pair. Mint works too. A small leaf is enough.
