BATCH 2026-06

ALPINE STRAWBERRIES, BACK FENCE BEDS, IN-GROUND

COOKED DOWN JUNE 2026

INGREDIENTS: WATER, ORGANIC CANE SUGAR, LOCAL HONEY, ALPINE STRAWBERRIES

MADE IN EL DORADO HILLS, CA

Alpine strawberries from the beds along the back fence, cooked down in June with cane sugar and local honey. Alpine berries run small and intense, so the syrup comes out deep red and tastes like the fruit at its peak, not like candy.

This is the June batch, made when the berries came ripe. When the alpine berries are out of season we hold the batch rather than reach for fruit that is not ready.

Stir it into lemonade or sparkling water, pour a little into a glass of sparkling wine, or spoon it over yogurt, pancakes, or vanilla ice cream.

How we use it

What's in it

Water. Organic cane sugar. Local honey. Alpine strawberries from the back fence beds. No lemon. No extracts. Nothing else.

Care and keeping

Keep the bottle in the cupboard until you open it. Once opened, refrigerate and use within a month.

Fruit syrups settle as they sit. That is the strawberry, not a fault. Shake before pouring.
