Viburnum Tinus (Viburnum tinus)

Viburnum Tinus (Viburnum tinus)

$85.00

Viburnum tinus flowers when almost nothing else will. From late fall into early spring, clusters of white bloom open across the shrub, right through the months the garden usually goes quiet. Those winter flowers are one of the few early food sources for bees.

Underneath the bloom it is a dense, dark evergreen that screens and holds structure year-round. Plant in full sun to part shade with steady, moderate water. It is adaptable and low-maintenance once rooted. Prune after the spring bloom to keep it dense.

Evergreen. Full sun to part shade. Moderate water. Matures 6 to 12 feet. In a 5-gallon pot, ready to go in the ground.
