Barnsley Lavatera (Lavatera 'Barnsley')

Lavatera 'Barnsley' blooms long and asks little. Soft pink flowers with a white eye open in waves from late spring all the way to fall, on a shrub that puts on size fast. Bees and butterflies work it the whole season.

Plant in full sun for the most flowers. Water through the first season to root it in, then let its drought tolerance take over. Cut it back hard in late winter and it comes back vigorous, tidy, and ready to bloom again.

Full sun. Low water once established. Fast to 6 to 8 feet. In a 5-gallon pot, ready to go in the ground.
